Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of subzerostudios.dev and related services operated by SubZero Studios LLC (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. This page is for clarity and is not legal advice.

1. The Site

SubZero Studios runs a public studio hub and community tools around s&box: profiles, directories, messaging, Weekly Spotlight, Cloud Library browsing for authorized tools, team applications, and related staff features. Features may change as we ship updates.

2. Accounts and Steam

You sign in with Steam. You are responsible for activity under your Steam-linked account. Keep your Steam account secure. You may link Discord, GitHub, or Twitch for profile features. We may refuse, suspend, or remove access when we believe these terms or community norms are broken.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the Site to:

  • Harass, threaten, scam, or impersonate others
  • Post illegal content, malware, or material that violates others’ rights
  • Spam reviews, messages, applications, or API requests
  • Bypass bans, rate limits, or access controls (including Cloud Library API keys)
  • Scrape or overload the Site in a way that harms service for others

Reviews, messages, profile text, portfolio links, and team applications are your responsibility. We may remove content and restrict messaging or accounts without prior notice when needed to protect the community or the Site.

4. Cloud Library and API keys

Cloud Library assets and API keys are for SubZero tools and authorized operators. Keys are secret. Do not share them publicly. Keys may be scoped (read, publish, delete) and revoked at any time. Catalog content remains SubZero’s (or the rights holder’s) unless we say otherwise.

5. Third-party services

The Site relies on Steam, Discord, GitHub, Twitch, Facepunch / sbox.game data surfaces, and similar providers. Their terms and availability apply. We sync public or authorized data to power profiles and discovery; see our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. We use operational cookies for sign-in, CSRF protection, and session state. We do not run third-party ad trackers. Embedded players (for example YouTube, Twitch, or Discord widgets) may set their own cookies under those providers’ policies when a page loads them.

7. Age

The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you are under that age, do not create an account.

8. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy of synced third-party stats, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent allowed by law, SubZero Studios LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
